NSA sex or casual sex is the term used to describe a sexual encounter with no strings attached. It is meant to be all about having sex and not having to deal with the emotional strains of a relationship. Two people are hooking up for the purpose of getting laid and nothing else. Sure, some NSA sex encounters may lead to something along the lines of a FWB (friend with benefits - a friend you screw) or even into a full fledged relationship but that is not the goal of an NSA sex date.
